So once again, we are trying to sell our house. This time, I am trying to do it as a for sale by owner. Amy has designed an amazing website and flyer. Big thank you to Amy. Make sure to visit her at www.amysidell.com.
And it hasn’t just been Amy. Soren wanted to help out with the marketing as well!Welcome to the new and improved Sidell Peterson website. As our family is evolving, so is our blog. We hope to be able to create a more up-to-date record of the kiddos. Enjoy and check back often.

Mug Shots
After many warnings, the kids were finally arrested for reckless conduct. Hopefully these are the only mug shots they ever get…

Gnarly Dude
Soren held tight that he wanted a snowboard for Christmas. He asked and he did receive, but we weren’t sure if he would ever actually use it. But he has! The big boys at daycare all snowboard which has given Soren the courage and confidence to join in. Maybe next year we’ll actually get him some lessons and a pass to Hermon Mountain! Scientists in the Making
Okay, I am totally ready for winter to be done. I am okay with winter if there were actually enough snow for the kids to play in. Our plow pile is like 2 feet tall and the rest of our yard is ice. Not very conducive to sending the boys outside to play in the snow for hours. So I am left with the task of entertaining two little wild boys with cabin fever.
Today’s activity…Owl pellets…We found all kinds of treasures in our little pellets. The boys we equally excited with each find. And seriously, there are like a million bones in each pellet.
Soren was all business once he got going. He couldn’t even look up for a picture.
I’m not sure exactly what we are going to do with a whole pile of mouse bones now, but at least it got us through another winter morning inside.

The Vampire and the Dangerous Lizards
By Soren Sidell Peterson
Once upon a time, there was a vampire named Edward. And it lived in a big big cave with tarantulas hanging from the wall and dead king cobras made the floor. Its pet was a dangerous dangerous animal called a very dangerous lizard. That vampire didn't like its pet much because it didn't do what he needed it to do. He needed his pet to do what he said.
So then the vampire went to the pet store and he got pets that would do what he wanted them to do. It was two more dangerous lizards--a sister and a brother. Then he got a bathtub for them so they could take a bath in it. And he named the girl, Fusia, and he named the boy, Margo.
One day, they adventured into the woods and they got lost. They couldn't get home. The vampire had a map and a compass. The compass had a wire that was so long, wherever they went, the wire attached to their house and told them where they had to go when they were lost in the woods. The problem was, the arrow that was pointing where to go was broken in half. They had a regular map that didn't attach to anything, it just told them where to go when they were lost.
When they were reading the map and going home, they run into a cave that can kill a vampire. They say "ahhhhhh. Lets run away to home" and they didn't read the map. Then, they started going backwards and got even more lost.
They ended up in the middle of the cave and were in very big trouble. There was a monster, named Moster Meah, that went over and tried to kill Edward. But Edward was too too too too talented. He had more wrestling moves and he killed the monster instead. Then they started looking at the map again, but they didn't get to go home. Instead they ran into another cave that could only kill dangerous lizards like Margo and Fusia. But Margo and Fusia were too talented too and had more wrestling moves and killed another monster, that was named Monster Heart. Then they read the map and started walking home.
On the way home, they walked the right way and there was no more trouble that came. Then the vampire, said "phew" when they got home. Then the lizards started being very very good and did just what Edward said. Then they lived happily ever after.
The End.
