Soren is always happy to teach Bodie all of his naughty tricks. Like all innocent and naive little brothers, Bodie is just excited to be hanging out with his older brother. The other night, Soren started splashing Bodie in the face while in the tub. Bodie thought this was a fun game. 
However, when Bodie joined in and started splashing Soren, it didn’t go over as well…
We are passing around a nasty bug in our house. Starts with a high fever followed by vomiting and then the fever continues for 3 days! Soren and I have weathered the storm and are successfully on the mend. Kevin and Boodle, are still in quarantine. And tonight, Boodle displayed a new symptom, hives on his face…
The poor Boodle looks even goofier now that his face is splotchy and swollen.
After a week of drama at the park (a water main that is located 7 feet under someone’s trailer broke and one of our units burned down), Kevin got to enjoy a relaxing, stress-free Father’s Day at camp with the fam.
Kevin and I brought the 4 boys and 2 dogs down while Amy worked a professional photo shoot. (Did I mention I love my minivan!)
Okay, so I didn’t get that many pictures of Kevin, but just picture him in each of the shots with a frosty beverage in his hand.
When Saturday drew to a close, the St.Pierre/Sidell Family and Grandma called it a night, leaving the Sidell/Peterson clan with a blank look on our faces and not knowing what to do with such quiet alone time. We took advantage of the lack of technology and called it an early night. And got to wake up to a beautiful and “quiet” morning (and by “quiet” I mean everyone else on the lack was quiet and we continued to have two barking dogs and ridiculously loud children).
Aw, if every weekend could be so perfect…
Boodle is an independent little guy and wants to do everything that the big boys do, and wants to do it himself—this includes swimming. So we (and by we I mean Amy) got one of the last floats left at Target, and Boodle has been a Boodle Fish ever since.
We have developed a little family tradition that we try to partake in as often as possible…Pancake Sunday. We try to mix up our pancakes each time. We get creative with the food color and Soren loves to make some funky colored pancakes. Two weeks ago, we had Shrek pancakes that were about the color of Shrek and the shape of Shrek (okay, well kind of the shape). Sometimes we do fun shapes or cool mix-ins. Another favorite pancake is the one that is decorated with cake decorating frostings! The boys have a great time making different designs and an even better time eating the designs…
