Oh A Caroling We Will Go…

It was another wild Friday night in the lives of the Sidell-Peterson Family.  Kevin and I decided to soak up some of that Christmas Spirit, and what better way to do this than to lock ourselves in the car with 4 very excited little boys and hop them up with sugar? 

First we brought Soren, Bodie, Nick, & Tim on a tour of the local Christmas lights in the Christmas-Mobile (aka: our van with decorated with garland and lights and blaring xmas music). 

We enjoyed some fine dining at the McDonalds drive-through. 

And then, we went to a local iconic establishment—Governors.  We let the kids pick out whatever desert they wanted out of the desert case.  We think they did a great job!

We came home and watched Toy Story 3 (which, by the way, I found to be a little dark for a G-rated movie) and ate our deserts.

Then, the kids enjoyed their first sleep over!  Everyone did great and they were in bed and asleep before 10pm (which I thought was impressive).  Of course, they were up again at 5am, but all came into our room and enjoyed an early morning movie in our bed while we got a few more zzz’s. 

Oh, but the fun didn’t stop there!  In the morning, we got up and headed to cut down our xmas tree and a tree for Grandma too!
