We thought we were a little bit crazy getting bunk beds, but in true Sidell/Peterson fashion, we pushed ahead with the plan, regardless. However, since getting the bunk beds, the kids are destroying the room less, going to bed earlier, and staying in their beds longer in the night (rather than joining us in our bed).
Soren is into pretending he is different animals, so each night he tells us what kind of baby animal he and Bodie are, and we tell him what kind of habitat their bed is (ie: Baby clams have to stay in their mudflats so they don’t dry up during low tide. Baby birds have to stay in their nest so they don’t fall out and break a wing, etc ,etc) Not only is it cute, it is really working!!!!
