Finally, after what seemed like weeks of cold rain, the sun came out! And with it, the bugs came out! Even our yard, which is almost always bug free, was a haven for blackflies, so we decided to hit the beach.
We rocked our best redneck outfits and hit one of our favorite spring-time spots—Sandy Point Beach in Stockton Springs.
Soren thought the Seaweed was so cool, he wanted to fully experience the slime. 
The boys had a great time walking around with their “marshmallow sticks” as Bodie called them. 
They tried playing catch with their ball nets, but after a few minutes of no one catching the ball, they decided playing in the sand was more entertaining. 
I am happy to report that everyone was happy. The boys got along really well. And it was just one of those perfect spring days!

They are too cute in those outfits with the shades. Love it! How far is that beach from the homestead area....looks like fun!
