Our beloved pool often is a death trap for various wildlife creatures. We have pulled many a mouse, frog, and bug out of the pool. We just add a little more chlorine and go on with our day. But last week, the boys were feeling sympathetic and we managed to make a few saves.
The frog was a big hit and we made a cozy little home for him. Unfortunately, we had added two packages of shock to the pool about an hour before we found him. I think that mixture of chemicals and Bodie’s delicate touch were just too much for him, and our poor froggie friend did not make it through the afternoon. May he rest in peace.
Once we were done mourning our frog (and believe me, for Bodie it was quite a mourning process!) We moved on to our next save.
